"My dog has never really been interested in playing games with objects so I thought I'd try detection as an activity she might enjoy instead."

"She's always been a real human-focused dog. It's been very telling to demonstrate how much she's reading my body language and being reliant on me to guide her. It's helping me and her by taking away that safety net and allowing her to be independent."

"This is my second dog through classes. While I always knew intellectually that each dog has a different personality regardless of breed, I never really understood it until I had her go through the training. She's completely different and so I've had to learn to adapt my method for each dog. It's really interesting to learn and use a variety of skills to achieve things."

"My first dog was a Beagle. It always fascinated me watching her explore the world through her nose, and checking what I'd been up to once I got home. I wanted to give Theo a chance to learn that same love of using his nose to explore."

"He used to be a bit of a scardey dog, but it's given him a bit of confidence to persevere and explore new objects/areas. Sometimes I think a bit too much confidence ;)"
